We offer to host your family reunions, get-togethers with friends, or your wedding on our estate located in the centre of the Loire Valley in the Brenne Regional Nature Park. Hidden away at the top of a wooded hillside overlooking the River Anglin, a carpet of greenery stretches from the foot of the manor house to the river's edge. Make the most of your holiday or family reunion to refocus on yourself, in the peace and quiet of the countryside in our little corner of paradise.
Description:
The estate consists of six detached houses surrounding a manor house, each with its own private garden and unique character. The manor house has two en suite double bedrooms with a private lounge. The entire property has been carefully renovated and decorated to embody the sophistication of French art de vivre. Comfort and aesthetics are combined with antique furniture, family heirlooms and objets d'art from all over the world. The estate can accommodate up to 28 guests.
11 hectares of wooded parkland, a river, two outdoor swimming pools, two communal rooms and a private car park will give you a unique experience, as if you were alone in the world. Live happily, live hidden! Le Pailler, the first common room, is a decorated indoor space with an open kitchen where you can organise your group meals. Its use is included in the rental price if meals are served table d'hôte, and extra if you wish to use it yourself.
Our estate offers a wide range of on-site activities: jogging on the voie verte, fishing under the shade of the 400-year-old oak, yoga sessions on the terraces, horse riding, canoeing on the river, or simply taking a dip in one of the two swimming pools. There's something for everyone!
There's no shortage of attractions in the surrounding area! We are lucky enough to be in the Brenne Regional Nature Park, also known as the land of a thousand ponds, which will win you over with its natural beauty, its thousands of bodies of water and observatories of local flora and fauna, and of course the exceptional Château du Bouchet (30km), a fortress dating back to the 13th century. You'll also enjoy discovering the Romanesque abbey of Saint-Savin, a UNESCO World Heritage site (10km), with its 11th and 12th century mural frescoes, the medieval village of Angles sur l'Anglin (15km), the local markets of Le Blanc (10km), the medieval town of Chauvigny (22km), the Palaeolithic sculptures of Roc aux sorciers (15km), or the magic of Bois aux féés (12km).

Waste management: we're all concerned!
- In the interests of ecological responsibility, our village has set itself an ambitious challenge: to reduce the volume of waste produced at source by implementing a mandatory system of responsible waste management.
- We fully understand that this approach may seem tedious and restrictive. However, this effort plays a crucial role in the health of our planet and makes us all aware of our responsibilities in terms of waste production. - This compulsory departmental procedure (which we will explain to you when you check in) is punishable by a fine if it is not complied with.
- If the waste is not sorted and deposited correctly, or if you do not wish to do so, you will be charged a fee in addition to your stay.
